A memory from Spring 1991 on a ‘Significant’ Day’ for Jean and me. I dug this photo out of the archives, a picture taken by a fellow tourist and thoughtfully sent on later.
As some will recall I very suddenly lost Jean in June. Today would have been a Significant Birthday for Jean and no doubt a big family bash to celebrate. A Mother, Grandma and Great Grandma.. and my Life Partner
All the family did get together this past Sunday, to recall so many family memories….. sad, a few tears but also lots of laughter.
As no one knows what is ahead for us… it is always important to…

It was fun at the weekend …all of us remembering all the good times. Lots of laughter, not many tears…Jean would have approved.

A magnificent memory David and something that photos do in my view really well by unlocking lots of extra detail which without a picture can start to fade. But often pictures unlock so much extra colour and details.

So true… and digging through Jeans pictures, she had squirrelled away has brought back many more memories
