April was a record year for dry and warm weather, May continues the trend. Sunday reached 24c but felt like 34c. An early start and determined to remain local, I headed to one of our local Parks. First impressions was that the Park was deserted, but folk were exercising common sense and keeping to the woodland shadows

Not everyone sort the shade, or couldn’t avoid it. The Junior Cricket Teams match had an early stary to avoid the worst, but must have still been a trifle warm..

Joggers and Rowing Fours were still testing themselves… though the rowers were not pushing at their normal training pace…
For me it was just a great Spring morning. Lots of both cultivated and wildflowers… all trying to out compete the vibrant green, red and orange leaves of the trees, contrasting with the White of the Hawthorn.

The forward forecast is for a brief break then more of the same…. hate to say it but we do need rain (but please not too much – maybe just scheduled for overnight)
Wherever you are and whatever your weather…. always….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

Who would have thought after Dec to mid-March being record breaking wet that we now want rain
