Little Things that People do….

It is the little and unexpected things that people do… little acts of kindness that really matter.

Just over 3 years ago we had to say goodbye to Buster. The following morning the Postman delivered a hand written note of sympathy from the Vet… there was also a small packet of Poppy Seeds. That simple gesturer meant so much to us.

The seeds were scattered, amongst other plants,  in a corner of the garden.  They flowered. The following year there was more of them..  Yesterday the first for this year bloomed…. and counting the poppy heads there are lots more to come.

It was a simple, personal and thoughtful action at a time of stress from the Vet…. 3 years on and it means so much to see ‘Busters ‘ Poppies appear.

Little things do count in Life….
