Darley Mills, Derby, Derbyshire
It is a cold November morning but the morning sun lights up Darley Mills on the River Derwent. Darley Mills are just one of several Mills along this river corridor, recognised as an important part of our Industrial Heritage. Now recognised as a part of the Derwent Valley UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After much renovation, the Mill complex thrives again, home to a Wedding Venue, Restaurant’s, Bars, plus a host of independent commercial companies from Motor Engineers, Gyms, Architects and much else…. definitely new life for a historic mill. You could say its been ‘recycled’
Have a good day… and as always….

It had stood empty and deteriorating. Then a restoration to the buildings and they were back in business. Much sort after for small and medium size businesses… Just shows that when someone has faith in an idea the seemingly impossible can be achieved.
