Stanton Moor is always a slow starter, but there are signs that Spring is really on the way. The Heather may still be wearing is brown winter overcoat but there are green shoots coming out of hiding.
The Silver Birch have survived the winter gales and the fronds are showing red and the leaves will soon burst.
March 31st, the end of a month. A quarter of the year gone already, but the start of the real spring
