Milky white cloud cover for most of the day….. the only plus is that it didn’t rain. At times we nearly thought that the sun would grace us with an appearance. They day isn’t over yet, so maybe it might yet!
The Flag Iris are a success this season and offer a bright highlight on a rather monotone day…..
Mist beyond the hard shadows of this Beech tree by the very quiet Lake.
Tomorrow the forecast is for more sunshine, but by the end of the week it will be rain and high winds again…. I am beginning to think we have had our summer in May.
Still, it is rather nice to be out and about, watching the many changes of natures palette.
