September 22nd, and the Season of Mist and Mellow Fruitfulness
Here in the UK, the Autumn Equinox is officially at 7.19pm this evening.
The true run into autumn now begins. No complaints from me if we get all the promised mists and rich autumnal colour. I keep my fingers crossed as I did hear an advanced forecast suggesting we were going to ‘enjoy’ a wetter than usual autumn and early winter. Nor was it any comfort when the same report reminded me that we had just enjoyed the hottest and sunniest summer for many years.
Well, we can do nothing about the weather…. we get what we get given.
But we can all….
