
A Victorian Christmas Card, circa 1902, featuring the timeless Holly as decoration and of course delivering an equally timeless message. As Victorian Cards go, this one is rather small, a single flat card measuring 4×3 inches
Now I know that some folk are well organised and have made a head start on writing their cards, I also know that some folk now prefer E-cards and even others who deplore the custom.
Well, I still believe in both the sending and receiving of Christmas Greetings, reaching out and hearing from friends far and wide.
So I will be busy this weekend Writing the Cards…

Then a trip to the Post Box to send them on their way….

Call it a ritual or maybe a custom…. one I hope will continue for many more years to come…. giving pleasure.
