The Cuillin Hills across Loch Scavaig from the sea cliff path above Elgol. The path takes you along to Camas Bay, seals and seabirds for companions. The path continues, then eventually you arrive at Loch Coruisk, right in the heart of the Cuillins. I always find it strange, that this range of Mountains, are referred to on OS Maps as ‘Hills’. They are mighty mountains and tough ascents from any direction.
Although we are already on the Isle of Skye, this approach does feel as if you are arriving over the seas. 🙂
A fantastic wild area of Skye… one of the many places of many in Scotland, that I hope, once these strange times are over, to visit again. Even though those ‘summits’ are now beyond my physical capabilities, the cliff walk is just fine. At least I have some great memories.
