The Soothsayer said….. “Beware the ides of March”

Spring-Blossom

Julius Caesar was right to beware of the ides of March…..but for us the 15th March was far from scary.  In fact we were blessed with a warm spring day to be savoured.  Even the Blossom made it first showing of the season, bursting out, as if by magic overnight.  The Daffodils waved to us in the woods welcoming in the day….

Daffs Nor could the close of the day be any the less cheerful as the last rays of the evening sun painted the pines with a warm glow…..
