The Spring Equinox is here and today is the first full day of Spring….. it has seemed along time coming. After an Autumn that drifted into Winter with wave after wave of rain and winds with all those interminable grey skies, we cannot wait for some warm sunny weather.
As if on que, this morning the sun is high in a predominantly blue sky. Then we have a forecast that suggests that this spell of ‘proper‘ Spring weather will be with us for a few days (maybe even a week – or is that too much to hope for).
Daffodils have been trying very hard to bring some colour to our currently dull world and now they are starting to flourish.
I guess we could all do with something to lift our spirits so I hope that the start of Spring does just that and gives us all some hope for the future. 🙂
