A promising start indeed for a new Acer seedling, with luck and fair weather, it should grow over the years into a glorious tree of red spring foliage.
Elsewhere in the garden the Chives are nearly ready to flower, simple green shoots ideal for flavouring food, with purple/mauve globes that will soon have white flower heads, ready to attract Bees and Butterflies. Great for the insects and great for the kitchen…
Spring will soon move into its early summer phase of colour and vibrant foliage.
