Dawn over Derwent Water, looking towards Skiddaw
The English Lake District, Cumbria
This weeks topic is you Favourite Place. Now I find that incredible hard to isolate just one place….it is so difficult that every Wednesday I have for a number of years posted “Wordless Wednesday – Another Favourite Place” and after some 4 years I have not run out of either a favourite place to share with you…. or discovered somewhere new that has made a big impression on me and demanding a return visit. All have made lasting impressions for all sorts of individual reasons.
So trying to pick just one I opted for an early morning, as dawn breaks and cloud lifts of Derwent Water revealing the mountains of Skiddaw beyond…. and that is a tough choice as the English Lake District in the county of Cumbria could produce many more Favourite Places. But at dawn Derwent Water is a very peaceful place to be.
So this is my submission for this weeks Challenge. You can see what others have suggested on this link:-

Should you feel inclined click on my Blog every Wednesday where I can share for more of my Favourite Places….. I hope they may inspire you to visit some of them.
