
Just a couple of weeks ago I took you on a virtual tour of The National Hydrangea Collection in our Local Park at Darley Abbey. Nestling beside that collection is what is described as a Butterfly Garden with a mix of wildflowers and colourful herbaceous plants.
Sadly this season the Butterflies seem to be in short supply…not a good year for the Butterfly, nationally we are told.
Hopefully we have a few more weeks of colour before the autumnal change..

Back in the Hydrangea Collection those whites that were dominating this season are now being enhanced by more colourful members of the family..

As August slowly heads towards the exit, I guess we will start to notice more end of season chjange..
