Defying the Odds…..
The winds may blow…..and indeed they are blowing rather hard, you can hear it shaking the branches, clashing together in a half hearted wrestling bout… swaying even the stoutest of trees….yet those leaves that were reluctant to fall in the autumn are now staying put.
Even when wet, a leafy gold forest carpet is worth crunching thru on a cold February morning.
