If the Country Folk Laws are correct then we are due for a bad winter….or so it is said, that in an autumn when the Bushes are Lush with Berry its going to be Very Cold.
It is also the time for Fungi but search as I do in the woods the only Fungi in evidence is the Birch Bracket….large ‘plates’ of Fungi growing from the Silver Birch trees…
