After yesterdays snows the story today was of ice, treacherous roads and temperatures climbing to 2c. For the greater part of the day it continued to be overcast but late afternoon we enjoyed a clearing sky and a winter sunset.
The big downside of course is that the clear skies will see temperatures drop like a stone.. in fact -12c is predicted.

Fabulous again photos. David. I fail miserably when trying dusk photos. 🙂 Always too dark.
We never had the real cold spell. Just under zero (Celsius). Heard about broken electricity wires which will be quite nasty for the people concerned. It’s been a proper blizzard yesterday overhere. Today is so much better and the snow will melt again. With loads of rain to come as well. But for now I am thoroughly enjoying bright sunshine and blue skies.
