Spring Daffodils, Chatsworth, Derbyshire
Just a little encouragement.ย The remnants of the snow from the past few days will soon be gone and like a miracle Spring will burst upon us.
It never is an exact science as to just when that will be in March, but here is a reminder from mid-March last year….a golden glow of Daffodils.
Not long to go….
4th March

Thank you for the encouragement…needed. Around -6 C here and still snowing.

We are somewhat farther. The ‘barmy’ 2 degrees were yesterday. It’s much better today. Snow’s melting rapidly but we were lucky with at the most 5 cm of snow. The ice on the water will take longer. They use ice breakers for the shipping lanes in the canals and on the lakes etc but the ice will be taking longer to melt. The grass was nice and green a month ago but it’s all gone greyish brown now. I am all for spring coming soon now. ๐

Spring is indeed around the corner. Those daffodils are so pretty, and you’ll get them again soon.
