A Very muddy and Damp Stable Block
The forecast was for more rain but a promise of sunshine this afternoon. Well they didn’t tell no lies….. we did get some sunshine, a very brief spell of late evening light. At least it made the Lake glow….
The temperature at 5pm was 11c, not bad for March….but the prediction is for 0c maybe less overnight with the possibility of some snow. If not snow, well more rain will have to do!

Allestree Lake
Best be grateful for a brief reminder that the sun is still up there !

Not quite golden…maybe a tainted bronze 🙂 Still a welcome surprise on a dull day.

Golden – how beautiful. Almost looks like Autumn.

As they say….look and learn. March and most of April have been far from brilliant and discouraging travelling far, so try to make the most of what’s local. Met one of my regular country folk, you know one who has been close to and observed the great outdoors for all his life. He reckons that we are in for a wet summer, he ain’t often wrong. The good news for you is that he has never travelled much beyond Derbyshire so the Moray forecast may well be much kinder (but isn’t it always) 🙂
