An early Sunday morning, perfect for a stroll through the Courtyards of Amalienborg Palace, past the statue of King Frederik V and then straight onto the Marmorkirken…the iconic Marble Church also known as Frederik’s Church.
I can remember well that early Sunday morning on our first to Copenhagen. A perfect start to a perfect day of exploration

That’s a nice shot, David. Marmorkirken tops the list of my favorite churches though our small white country churches are wonderful too.
I past the church a day when they were restoring the roof: https://vandreture.files.wordpress.com/2014/09/img_7131.jpg?w=960

It certainly is worthy of being a ‘Best’ church. It has style and yet simplicity. I have other shots that are just of the church…. but always feel it fits so well with the other historic buildings around so selected this shot from the square. Thanks for the link… high level drama!
