Lots of autumnal colours in and around the woods. This Redwood always has a spectacular trunk but the foliage is a cause of some concern. Possible the exceptionally dry hot summer has taken its toll as the foliage is all dry and brittle….I hope it recovers as we would miss this giant

Yesterday, Sunday did start damp and dark.. but there were signs that sun would soon grace us with its presence. It did and despite a breeze the temperature rose to 15c….now for November that is just not right. But the colours of autumn that we have waited for are now all about….
Cannot be long before we say goodbye to those colourful leaves of autumn

Thank you….We have been blessed with a late summer that kept its colours and a slow autumn. Thankfully really bad weather has yet to hit us resulting in our leaves staying with us for so long 🙂
