
Rather wet today….. to be honest we had rather forgotten what rain was like, and of course we do need a good deal more rain to refill those near empty reservoirs.
Not that it was any conciliation for this rather bedraggled Duck….I sure it was saying ‘don’t make me take another bath today!’

At least the rain has given a gloss to the carpet of Oak leaves.

Surprising that this one tree keeps living in the water. Or is it Ivy? Can’t see too well. As for the Duck… reminds me of the children’s story of Nils Holgerson and his goose Martin. Are you sure it’s a duck?

Well our reservoir network is dry…you can see the old sunken villages in the mud. It is going to take a good deal of rain to refill. Someone said that it would take at least 4 months of solid rain. I dread to think!
