The Quiraing, Isle of Skye, Scotland
It was a very wet and even wilder day when we last visited the dramatic Quiraing rocky Mountain Pass in the North West corner of the Isle of Skye…. we live many miles away but our forecast for this week would read the same. The only difference will be that the views will not be as dramatic.
Despite getting soaked and blown about, the Quiraing just seemed to be even more dramatic than we remembered…. well worth tolerating the weather.
The view south from the Quiraing towards Dun Dubh and the Cleat.

As I saw the header image I thought Quiraing….and it is! I saw it in similar conditions over 20 years ago

I have seen it lots of times but never in anything you could describe as clement weather…… but this time it was very high wind that relentlessly drove the rain into any crack it could find on the waterproofs. Fun 💦😊
