Granddad.. where have all the conkers gone? True not a conker to be seen. I guess yesterdays sunshine is to blame with lots of other kids out seeking some of autumns treasures.
But is was great to be out and about again. But still lots to do for a little boy with lots of trees about….. yep, Ewan did what just about every boy loves to do – climb trees
But a little lads energy eventually faded and the message came across loud and clear
Hurry up Granddad, I need a drink and a biscuit….and Buster would like one too.

I love your shots, David. The autumn colors and light, as well as the juxtaposition of your grandson against that massive tree. I think they both need a drink and a biscuit. I’d like one, too, please!

Thanks….sadly cannot send your request via the ‘ether’ – that is still one part of todays technology that hasn’t been solved yet! 🙂

They all grow up fast… and in this day and age seems even faster. Thankfully all are grand kids are very active…. hard trying to keep up with them 😅

I hope you did not climb the tree too? But it looks a great thing to do such a beautiful day!

Well, my grandmother still climbed the cherry trees and picked them clean from the top when she was 72. I would never do it… Glad you let your grandchild up instead!

Lovely images! I like the way your grandson’s coat complements the lichen on the tree and the yellow leaves 🙂
