Monday morning and we have sunshine….that is a very welcome change after a sustained period of heavy rains and what seemed like constant dark skies….quite a change from the weekend…

Just hope that this current dry spell will give some hope and much needed relief for those who are still struggling with floods and the aftermath.

The sunshine was very welcome. We are OK as far as floods go….but it is so easy for us to feel empathy for those who have been literally up to their necks in flood water. We see it on TV, the News bulletins are full of it, Politicians are bused in, the papers all have images of the personal devastation for so many. Then the media moves on and those poor folk are still unable to start dealing with the aftermath. I cannot imagine how they cope.
