The Spring heatwave is over, for how long we don’t really know. But whilst the sun did shine this morning there was also a layer of high level haze that took the edge of the heat…. it was though very humid, there was also a certain feel to the air that indicated that a change is on the way…….
A little earlier the mist that woke the day was still lingering in the woods bring with it a heavy dew damping the new woodland growth…
I am finding it very hard getting used to the lack of people. All this empty open space, ever changing and space to share. It is of course the rule to exercise just once in the day then head back home. We are lucky as we have a garden that expands the rooms of the house. So I do feel for the great many who do not have that luxury. I am sure a few more folk could, with safe distancing, share the enjoyment of this outdoors space.
So of course there was no one taking advantage of the lakeside’s favourite bench..
We have rain forecast and a marked drop in temperature from this evening, so tomorrow may well be very different.

Had to arrive sometime….. though with everything else that has been happening from floods to CV19 lockdowns, we did begin to wonder. But its here 🙂

You are blessed that you have space to be able to get outside. We live in the country and have plenty of places to be distanced from others too. But I feel so sorry for those who are crammed into apartments in large building complexes on lockdown in dense cities. I would truly go stir crazy if I lived in a place like that.

Then when they ve nature out to the few green places in the cities they are made to feel guilty…. Even though they are respecting SD. Yep, we on the other hand really are so lucky 😊
