There is an old Country saying….
It is a Long Lane … that has no Pub in it!
True we often walk along tracks and long for a place to rest and refresh, the longer it takes for that place to come into view the long the lane does feel.
The sun came out to play today, it had a day off yesterday and let the rain entertain us for a change. The Bluebells seemed refreshed with a sweet scent wafting across the woods in the breeze that was cooling the day. Yep, a woodland scene that is unique to Spring..
A welcome pause at lakeside…. it always takes me by surprise (it shouldn’t as I have witnessed enough springs) just how fast that change to green, a green that hides the winter skeleton’s of trees. One day its bare the next its there….
A peaceful Sunday in the Sun.
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

I really enjoyed each of these photos but those first two just speak to me. I enjoy long country lanes!

There was a time, not too long ago, when Country Pubs were everywhere….. But that thing called progress has seen an end to far too many

Hurray for this wonderful picture of bluebells! They are very hard to get looking good in the mass and with dappled shade.
