Yesterdays light dusting of snow has all but vanished…. what remains is due to the very low temperatures. The wind that has been pestering us for the past few days has dropped, the Lake has frozen.
What little snow that remains in the woodland only seems to emphasise the stark, long shadows the low winter sun is casting.
Cold it may be, the sun doing little today to raise the thermometer to anywhere near zero.
Not that I am complaining, it just nice to be able to get out and about for a short while…. breathing in deeply of what you have to say, is some very very fresh air, I’m sure its doing me good!
Despite the cold, I would have liked to have been out longer. It is though, best to stick to the current exercise restrictions.
Not sure what the weather forecasters have in store for us. So far, not half as bad as predicted, we will just have to wait and see.
Whatever the weather…..

Ah, those long, oh-so-blue shadows are wonderful. It’s sad to contemplate the exercise restrictions, but good to know that you are carefully complying.

Sounds like you are silently and slowly drifting our way?
What if we open our airports to the UK again? 🙂

I think travel to Norway is a long long way off…… 🙂

We’re covered with snow again – several inches — and supposedly more to come. Looks like it’s going to be a snowy, frosty, cold February.
