A Barn in Dovedale, Derbyshire
As Airbnb’s are spreading everywhere. So one might wonder just when this old barn will be converted. B&B accommodation has sprung up in a mammoth post CV19 explosion, some in the most unlikely and inventive locations and settings.
No such fate awaits this Barn. A Barn which I suspect was once more than just a Barn, but also simple farm accommodation, livestock below, living accommodation above. It is currently a National Trust Property. Simple restoration and now a visitor information post and a place in inclement weather to take shelter.
Not a bad spot for a picnic 🙂
