Another ‘bonus’ summers day. Just perfect for a late afternoons walk round the woods and lake at Kedleston Hall. The Hall and Parkland are just a stones throw away from us, so a last minute decision to enjoy the afternoons sunshine was easy to make. As for the woods.. as you will see there is just a touch of autumn colour, but I reckon still a bit more summer yet to come…
The day faded fast. The Gates were locked so time for home.
The Equinox approaches …and maybe there is also a change in the weather. No matter it has been a grand afternoon, relaxing and just a little exhausting…
The seasons march to their own tune…. but we must also march to another tune…. so

A lovely excursion in beautiful weather for you, what could be better? I noticed just a couple of leaves on our trees are starting to change color. Autumn is fast approaching.

always slow at first…then its here. Sometimes it stays with us at other times bad weather turns autumn into winter far too quickly 🙂
