Another sunny September morning. Sunny it maybe, but there is a different feel to the day. First there was a rather cool but strong breeze…. that quickly dispersed the early mists that had become a feature of our mornings.
Whilst the sun was bright it was also noticeably less strong in its colour temperature. It still felt warm but the landscape looked cooler despite the harsh shadows.
Autumnal colours are just a little more prominent, but lush green remains the dominant colour.
The leaves on the venerable Oak are still thick and rich green. Not that many Acorns this season, I guess is to be expected, last year it was a bumper crop..
We did get some sever weather warnings for last weekend, nothing came of them. But its as if each coming weekend has to be preceded by such warnings…. the Met Office is again giving advance warnings of heavy rains and very high winds. I guess for autumn they have to arrive sometime soon.
Till then and whatever your weather outlook…..
Please Remember ….
