Swaying in the Wind
The pattern of our weather for the last week or so, has lets say been erratic!
The Met Office keep issuing dire forecasters for the day ahead which is always dispiriting. However the weather itself does at it wants. Most days we have had some spectacularly sunny mornings but once past noon it all goes down hill rapidly.
This morning is another good example. We woke not to the doom and gloom of the forecast but to a really sunny morning. True it was also rather windy as predicted.
The Silver Birch above, swayed and waved good morning to us as we past. Nor were the clouds hanging around, scurrying across the blue sky behind, just like a jet aircraft quickly disappearing over the horizon.
True to recent form, come lunchtime and the rains returned…. returned with a vengeance.
No point in complaining as we get what we get given. The forecast for the week ahead sound rather dire again, it may well turn out that way. But a realistic and reliable forecast would help plan the day and the week ahead. We wait to see, with waterproofs at the ready.
Indoors or venturing out…

That does look rather nice – like a summer breeze through the tree tops?
