As the weather is far from sunny and bright this Sunday, I delved into the archive to bring you some Sun.
Saint Martins Church, Martin Dale, Nr. Ullswater, Cumbria
It is small and very rustic…. but full of charm. Built around 1635, in this secluded Lake District Dale, it is well worth a visit. Pass below the Bell Tower and step inside to view the immaculately cared for interior. One room with a stone flagged floor. Simple, yet still very welcoming.
I hope this little church basking in sunshine brought a little sunshine to your Sunday.
