Morning Glory…..
A bright start to the day that just kept on getting better…… there was a real spring feel in the air.
Down on the Lake they were very busy carrying out the annual Fish Stock survey, checking on water quality and health of the fish. Despite the sunshine it would still have been cold work.
Pussy Willow buds have started to swell, with one or two showing the first signs of bursting. Catkins glowed yellow and their seeds ready to spread.
Not sure this spell of good weather will last. For several months now we have had a roller coaster of weather sequences. But best not to complain as we can only accept what we get given. So best to enjoy the spring sun whilst it lasts.
