They tell us that this is the first day of Spring

Our Meteorological Office define that March 1st is the first day of Spring….. I think nature seasonal cycle would not be so premature.

That said….. today started off very sunny, feels only a trifle warmer but still looks cold. Recent rains and mild temperatures ensure that the grass is green, but the trees still show their winter skeletons, maybe a close look would indicated that there are buds starting to swell.

By mid afternoon, that sun had vanished and a hint of more rain to come……  at least we had a brief taster of Spring.
