We have had some long awaited and much needed rain! It was very considerate by raining overnight (I am told it also thundered – but I was sound asleep).
We did wake to blue skies and glorious sunshine that added a wet twinkle to both the Conifers and Hosta’s.
Apart from leaving the air crisp and fresh, killing that pollution haze, it also revived plants, trees and grass that had been showing the strain of lack of water. Amazing what one night of torrential rain can do…
More rain again tonight…. this could become habit forming 🙂
