October…. and back on home territory. Fully expected to find that the seasons had moved along. As of this morning, with an early bright sunny start to the day, it was still looking very much like summer.
True there are some tell-tale signs that the inevitable change is on the way. It has been a very strange year, the weather has not followed its usual sequence, drought and heatwaves have been the dominant influences. I suspect the very recent rains have refreshed the foliage, enhancing the greens. So, for now, we will enjoy a late summer like days 🙂
Nice to be home…. still strange fighting back after Covid, but we are getting there.

For the past few year’s autumn seems to appear just a little later. Love autumn in many ways…. but more importantly it delays the onset of winter 🙂
