One clock that didn’t need an autumnal adjustment would be the Castlerigg Stone Circle in Cumbria.
Dating from circa 3000bc, this neolithic Stone Circle is thought to have fulfilled many social purposes… but it is also suggested that it is astronomically aligned and was used to mark the passing of the Summer and Winter Solstices….. permanently on time 🙂
So, if you didn’t adjust your clocks last night, you didn’t ‘Fall Back’ and are currently one hour ahead of yourselves.
Whatever the time of day for you…..

Retired…. you can forget or just not bother. The joys of being free (until the grandkids visit) 😄😉

Ha! Grandkids are the least of the problem — Remember the good old days when you just reset your one watch and a few clocks…. This morning – when I realised the hour had changed, I’m wondering what time it actually is… did my phone automatically go back? and the laptop? and the fitbit?….. then there’s negotiating the clock on the oven … and the car!!! How exactly did I change them 6 months ago!!
