Hiding in full view
Once a regular winter visitor…. A Goldfinch. Often referred to as a clown because of it red face. Usually, a visitor in a small flock. This once regular entertainer, started to be elusive a couple of years ago, like many of our small birds…. So, it is heartwarming to be graced by a couple of these fluffy colourful feather charmers. Just hope their numbers, and those of other winter visitors, are now on the increase.
