A winter mist on the Cromford Canal, Derbyshire
A moody winters morning. The Sun is doing its very best to break through the mornings mist. Just one of the many clothes that winter drapes about itself. For the past few years, our winter weather has not been as consistent as we would describe it in lets say ‘a normal winter.’
A little of everything is on the menu.
We are told that on average our temperatures are running higher than normal….. Though sometimes the wind chmll makes us question that statement.
We have had some snow.,.. just a scattering….
but no sooner that it arrives, than it vanishes. I guess that just proves that the land is retaining its warmth and still damp from all the December rains. No doubt we will get more snow in due course
It does seem that in our part of the UK, gone are the times when snows would linger long.
Weather is transient and often our moods match the weather swings… but none the less we should, as always….
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other
