What’s in a name when it is applied to a house or shop? Well in the case above the name is self-explanatory…. but that isn’t always the case as with Pilchards Cottage below …

Nor am I sure that this last name is quite right for a Pet Store….
I am sure you all have seen many such signs in your travels….. some do give me a chuckle…
