Cee specifies this weeks topic as places where people live…. No,  folk don’t live permanently in this Highland Bothy, but it is just as important as any permanent place of abode. 

Ryvoan Bothy is just one of a number of Bothies that are located across the Scottish Highlands, some extremely remote. They offer overnight accommodation, on a self service basis, out of the wild elements for those mountaineers ,out on a long trek. in wild country.  Dry shelter, a place to unroll your sleeping bag and if needed to light a fire. No booking needed and share with any one else in need of a nights shelter.
