Let you into a secret. I spotted this location as an ideal foreground for a sunrise. For several mornings I woke early, checked out the sky and decided to stay in bed. This particular morning the sky had cleared so off Buster and I went in the dark tramping to top of this trail summit. As we ascended, the sky behind the mountains started to warm up, the hint of a glow to come. But the breeze came in from the coast and brought a misty haze and the warm colours vanished… so no dramatic orange sunrise. I don’t know if I should feel cheated or not…. Buster was glad to get back for breakfast 😃
