Possibly one of the best views in South Derbyshire. We are at Kedleston and looking over the wide open farmland towards Brassington.
The Equinox and the first official day of Autumn. Whilst many parts of the UK are suffering the backlash of storm Nigel, we seem to have been favoured by the weather gods.

We have yet to embrace the colours of autumn…. but the first tints are staring to show. Perhaps more pertinent, that despite blue skies and sunshine, there is more than a hint of autumn in the air.
Being blessed with such a September day, a mornings walk round a part of Kedleston Estate was just right. From Lake to Woods and a nosy round the servants entrance to the Old Hall, it was just a perfect autumnal tonic.

The change in season can bring both hope and anticipation of autumns colourful glory…. but for some there is the dread of the winter that will follow. Only sure thing is that we get what we get given….. no choice.
But we can all try to…..
Please Remember ….
Stay Safe …. Be Kind…. Look After Each Other

I should have added that the only thing we miss in our part of the UK is the sea, the coastal views and the extra fresh air 😃

It is roller- coaster weather. From what they tell us this week will be once again one of sun/rain/sun/gales/rain/sun….. in no particular order….. as they say they are keeping an eye on it 🙂
