Not all Beautiful Flowers are in Gardens

Find a damp corner of a field, pond or river, and the Yellow Flag Iris stands proud and high….and a sure sign that spring has morphed into summer. A cousin of our garden Iris but the wild variety always seem so much more strong and virulent.  Always add cheer to any walk.

I guess like many other issues, Nature does know best an maybe left to its own device.
