September 7th 2022 and our wildflower border looked, as was usual, rather good.
My Facebook memory this morning brought up these two images for this very day in 2022. Whilst I did enjoy the reminder, it also emphasised what we are now accepting… that summer 2024 was a big disappointment weather wise. As a result in our garden, out wonderful wildflowers have not shown up to delight and lift our spirits. Maybe next year, we can only hope.

Hope for a more normal year with plants growing to the traditional time table…i think if I had to describe this summer, I would say green all very verdant and lush.
