OWS – One Word Sunday Challenge….. WEIGHT

A weighty issue

Debbie, for her challenge, specified WEIGHT as the word…. but Debbie also gave a wide brief for the word., you can choose your option, weight /wait.  So here is my take on Weight.

Dating back to the late 1800’s this hand operated crane was used to lift heavy cargo to and from commercial barges and adjacent warehouses. Located at the now quiet inland Port of Shardlow…. but once a busy midlands transport hub on the original Inland Canal Network.
