The last day of April, again another month that seems to have passed all too quickly…. and what a helter-skelter of a month it has been. April showers have been few and far between, after a wet winter that was a relief. Helter=skelter as the Spring bulbs seem to have been falling over themselves to out perform each other.
Daffodils, Hyacinth and Tulips fighting for our attention. I don’t think I have experienced such a display for many years…nor as concentrated into a shorter timespan.

The Daffodils have gone, and it seems fitting that the very last Tulip standing is a White Tulip… as if its waving the white flag

April may seem to have passed all too quickly but it certainly packed a lot of colour into our lives… tomorrow is the start of May… May supposedly the month of Flowers. Well, it has a challenge to match Aprils colourful splendour.
I hope you have also enjoyed April….
As always…..

What many beautiful colours you had! Here it has been cold, frosty nights, and dry. Not many flowers, and the few that dare sticking up their heads are soon to turn black…Lucky you!
