May…. I wonder what treats it has in-store…..

May is the month for Rhododendron to make their mark. Already the new buds are starting to reveal the petals of the blousy blooms to come. Lots more colour to come, but it is also the month where green start to make its own mark..,. hedges, shrubs and of course trees now coming very much to life. Even our Pine is sporting new cones, seed pods and what I call ‘candles’ where the branches are also growing.

Then before too long the Azalea with bring its May delights…
