Recent rains have managed to revive our gardens… just in time for some late summer displays prior to autumns arrival.
However the possible disturbing News, on the mornings Weather Report, did not sound good at all. It is suggested that most of England and Wales we will need ‘at least’ 7 months of above average rainfall to restore water stocks to a near normal level following this years drought… the exceptions being Devon and Cornwall which will need even longer to recover.
Now that sounds like an awful lot of rain…. not a good prospect for the winter months. I wonder if we will get some snow for a change and if that will make any difference.
The only sure thing is that we cannot change the weather… no matter what we best make the most of it, whilst all try to….
